Every new employee begins with a two-week induction programme, introducing them to our values, daily routines, and the young people we support. This hands-on introduction ensures every staff member feels prepared, confident, and valued from day one.
Following induction, staff complete a six-month probation period with ongoing training and mentoring. Our development pathway includes:
Online courses such as Manual Handling, Food Hygiene, and GDPR
In-house training in First Aid, Ligature Awareness, and Physical Intervention
Specialist safeguarding training delivered by local safeguarding boards
Access to QCF Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications in Children and Young People’s Workforce
